By setting up your hair profile, skill level, and styling goals in the companion app, the device intelligently creates a personalized curling routine — the i.d. curl™ routine — which automatically wraps, styles, and sets each curl at the press of a button. Connecting to the app also provides access to personalized styling content for your hair type, live product updates, troubleshooting notifications, and filter maintenance reminders.

How does the i.d. curl personalized curl routine work?

Once connected to the app, you can configure your hair profile. This data allows the device to generate a customized styling sequence with the ideal timing to wrap, curl, and set your hair automatically.

After pushing the power switch all the way up, the i.d. curl™ routine begins. Hold a section of hair near the barrel until it’s automatically wrapped. You don’t need to count or time the process — the routine does it for you.

It wraps, styles, and finishes with a cool shot to set the curl. The device then switches to Ultra Low Flow mode to release the curl, so you can move on to the next section.

Which attachments can be used with the i.d. curl™ routine?
